Get ready for an exciting day at the Minooka Summerfest 5K on Saturday, June 14th, 2025! Held in the charming village of Minooka, Will County, this vibrant event invites runners of all ages to participate in a fun-filled race that showcases the community spirit. Participants will take on a scenic 5K course featuring paved roads and rolling hills, with split times available at the 1 and 2-mile marks to keep you motivated along the way.
Registration is $35 if you sign up online before June 2nd, or $40 after that date, with the opportunity to register in person on race day. Be sure to arrive early—registration opens at 6:45 AM, and the race kicks off promptly at 8:00 AM. With awards for the top overall male and female finishers, as well as prizes for the top two runners in each age category, there's plenty of incentive to give it your all! Registration and packet pickup will be held on Friday, June 13th from 6:00pm till 8:00pm AND on race day from 6:30am to 7:30am under the big tent at the corner of Wabena Ave. and Mondamin St. Please pay by cash or checks payable to Minooka Lions Club.

5k Run begins at 8:00am
Course:
Out and back, 5k (3.1 miles). Split times at 1 and 2 miles. Water available at the finish, and on the course. Race will be held on closed village streets, paved and rolling hills.
Age Categories:
11-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74, 75-79, 80 and above.
Awards:
First Overall Male and Female, and top 2 in each age category. Ceremony will be held after the kids races in the registration tent. Raffle prizes will be drawn based on bib numbers. Were giving away over $200 worth of gift certificates, so please
