The 12th Annual Kisco 5K and Kids Mad Dash will take place on September 14, 2025
One of Mount Kisco's favorite events is back for a 11th year and we are excited for the Mount Kisco Volunteer Fire Department to continue the tradition of #kathystrong. Last year was incredibly successful and we look forward to much of the same. We are currently accepting sponsorship for these events. Please contact [email protected] if you are interested. This year, all proceeds from the race will go to training and equipment for our dedicated volunteers!
This year, we will be running in honor of Kathy Tilden. Kathy has always had a pivotal role in the 5K. She was one of the people who dreamed up the idea of bringing an event like the 5K to Mount Kisco. KT welcomed all with a warm smile and calm demeanor, even in the craziest of circumstances. She was a huge help to the Fire Department, allowing us to get up and running in no time flat. We will all certainly miss Kathy, but we know she will be watching over us on the 14th!

Runners will again be starting and finishing in Kirby Plaza at the Mount Kisco Train Station. The course takes runners through the heart of Mount Kisco, starting in Kirby Plaza, then up Main street past Northern Westchester hospital, into and out of Leonard Park, and then down Main Street to finish back in Kirby Plaza. -
Stop, Drop and Race Kids Dash

The Kids Mad Dash will be for children aged 10 and under. Pre-registration is required to ensure that every participant receives a t-shirt, medal and a few surprise goodies. The kids run the length of the Kirby Plaza parking lot and heats are separated by age.
