Join us for the exciting MLK 5K Run on Sunday, January 18, 2026, in beautiful San Antonio, Bexar! This inspiring event celebrates the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and promotes the message of resilience and equality. The run kicks off at 9:00 AM at MLK Park, located at 3503 Martin Luther King Dr, San Antonio, TX 78220. Participants will have the opportunity to race through a spirited 5K course while supporting the Young Men's Leadership Academy, the first all-boys public school in San Antonio.
With registration fees starting at just $10 until December 12, 2025, this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved and make a difference. Medals will be awarded for the fastest times in each age group, adding to the excitement of the day! Don't miss your chance to be part of this uplifting community event, where 100% of proceeds go directly toward developing future leaders through quality education and programming. Organiser's Description
Martin Luther King Jr. once said, If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward. The Young Mens Leadership Academy 5K Run is a fundraising event presented by the school to help raise funds for the academy, as well as a demonstration of their support for Martin Luther King Jr.s message of resilience and equality. Young Mens Leadership Academy is the first all-boys public school in San Antonio. Our mission is to develop young men into highly effective scholars, thinkers, and leaders by providing a high-quality comprehensive educational and social experience leading to a distinguished high school graduation plan. 100% of proceeds from our event fund student programming.
We are back and excited to see all of you at the starting line this year! As always we look forward to seeing your photos, videos and of course, those incredible times that you post!!

If you do not know your Bib Number, you can go to the Race Website and click "find Participant" this will pull up your name and the BIB Number will be the first column.
