Hosted by the Monitor Merrimac District of the Colonial Virginia Council, this second annual event invites runners and walkers of all ages to join together in support of Scouting America. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just looking for a way to get active, this 5K is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with friends, family, and fellow Scouts.
Kick off the day with check-in and registration from 7:00 to 7:45 AM at Copeland Field, conveniently located across from Warwick High School. The race will officially start at 8:00 AM, followed by an exciting awards ceremony at 9:30 AM for the top finishers in various age groups. Don’t forget, if you want a race t-shirt, be sure to register by July 25th! Join us for an uplifting day that promotes health, community, and the spirit of Scouting. The Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America) - Colonial Virginia Council provides a well-rounded program that promotes physical, mental, and emotional development while fostering a lifelong love of learning and adventure. We currently serve around 2,000 youth and your support will help us expose more families about Scouting.
Lace up your running shoes and run or walk with for Scouting America. The Monitor Merrimac District of the Colonial Virginia Council is hosting our second annual Scout Strong 5K.
You do not have to be a runner to participate. This event provides a great opportunity for Scouts, friends and families to get outdoors and walk or run the 5k to support Scouting and your own health! All proceeds benefit the Colonial Virginia Council - Scouting America.
IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A RACE T-SHIRT, COMPLETE REGISTRATION BY JULY 25TH. You are not guaranteed a shirt after the deadline. Check-in is the day of the race from 7-7:45am. Join the race and lets get active!
