In addition to the main 5K race, children aged 16 and younger can participate in the thrilling Kids Dash, which features multiple distance options based on age group. An Activity Zone will be open from 7 AM to 10 AM, ensuring a full day of entertainment for families. LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN PTO, MOUNTAIN SKY PTO AND THUNDERBIRD TPA ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THE 2ND ANNUAL MOON VALLEY STRIDES FOR SCHOOLS 5K AND KIDS DASH ON APRIL 5TH! While it is a joint fundraising effort for the 3 local schools that serve the Moon Valley neighborhood, everyone is invited to join the fun!

6:30AM Race Check In Opens
7:10AM Warm Up for 5K
7:30AM 5K Start Time (Runners first, then walkers)
8:30AM Kids Dash - K and under - 2 laps
8:45AM Kids Dash - 1st - 4th grade - 4 laps
9:00AM Kids Dash - 5th and up - 6 laps
7AM TO 10AM Activity Zone Open for All Participants 16 Years and Younger!
Get ready for the big day by picking up your race bags at one of our convenient pick-up events! Each bag includes your participant wristband (wear this on Saturday!), t-shirt (if registered by 3/25/25), and tons of valuable items from our sponsors. Avoid the race day rush by collecting your items ahead of time!
* Thursday, April 3rd: 5:00-8:00 PM at Barros Pizza (15440 N. 7th St)
Stay for dinner or get a pizza to go! Mention the 5K and Barro's will donate a portion of sales back to our schools all day on Thursday!
* Friday, April 4th: 7:00-10:00AM or 3:00-5:00PM at Serafina Coffee (15414 N. 7th St)
