Get ready for a fun Thanksgiving tradition at the Mountaineer Turkey Strut organized by Cherie on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at Mt. Vernon Courthouse Square. Lace up your running shoes and join us for a race before indulging in a delicious feast! The event offers chip timing by Agee Race Timing, with custom medals and awards for Overall M & F, Masters M & F, and age groups ranging from 0-9 to 70 and over. Registration costs $30 for individuals or $100 for a family of four, with new t-shirts this year! Don't forget to bring two canned goods for donation to the St. Susanne Food Pantry. Packet pick-up will be available on November 27th at Keen Bean or on race morning. Come out and support the Summit After School Program in Mount Vernon while enjoying a morning of fitness and fun!
