Join us for the inaugural ROCC The Journey 5K on Saturday, September 13, 2025, in the vibrant city of Joplin, Jasper! This uplifting event begins at 7 AM on Joplin Street, right behind The Recovery Outreach Community Center (The ROCC). Participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome, whether you're running your first 5K or cheering on a loved one. This unique race combines the joy of music, movement, and community spirit while raising awareness for sobriety and recovery.
With a registration fee of $35 until August 1, 2025, you can secure your spot and a free t-shirt if you register by August 28, 2025. After that, the entry fee will rise to $40. All participants will receive finisher medals, and awards will be given to the top male and female finishers, along with recognition for the best rock 'n' roll costume and a special "Comeback Story" award for those inspiring individuals on their recovery journey. Organiser's Description
Welcome to the inaugural ROCC the Journey 5K, where the power of music, movement, and recovery come together for a day that's more than just a run. Whether you're lacing up for your first 5K or coming to support someone you love, this event is about celebration, strength, and community- all while raising awareness for sobriety and recovery. This is an event where all proceeds are donated to The Recovery Outreach Community Center (The ROCC). The ROCC is a non-profit whose mission is to provide recovery support services to those in need by partnering and leveraging resources to strengthen individuals, preserve families, and build stronger communities through peer empowerment.

PACKET PICK-UP AT THE ROCC
* 11:00 AM to 4 PM- Friday September 12th
* 6:00 AM to 6:50 AM- Saturday September 13th
ENTRY FEE:
