Organiser's Description
MOVE FOR MARYBETH was created to raise awareness of ARDS by celebrating the life of Marybeth Monaghen and all those impacted by ARDS. Marybeth lost her battle with ARDS at the age of 36, August 8th 1998. Each August 8th we ride/walk/swim/run on World ARDS Awareness Day to remember and honor the 200,000 Americans who develop ARDS every year, 40% of whom will lose their lives to it. The funds raised at this event will help us support the ARDS Community and raise awareness for ARDS.
