Join us for an exhilarating day of community spirit at the 2026 MPD Pursuit 1K & 5K event on Saturday, August 8th, in Midland, Texas! This inspiring race celebrates the dedication of law enforcement officers while bringing together community members, first responders, and supporters in an unforgettable experience.
Choose between the 1K Fun Run, perfect for families and first-time runners, and the more challenging 5K Run/Walk that invites participants to push their limits. This year's theme is superheroes, so we encourage everyone to dress up as their favorite hero for a day filled with fun and excitement! Adding to the challenge, the 14:46 Challenge awaits those who think they can run 1.5 miles in under 14 minutes and 46 seconds during the 5K. Successful participants will receive a surprise gift after the race!
The event kicks off with packet pickup on August 7th from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Midland Athletic Company, and on race day, the 1K starts at 8:00 AM, followed by the 5K at 8:30 AM. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Teen F.L.O.W.
