Get ready for a fantastic day of fun and fitness at the inaugural New Castle Band 5K Run and Walk on Saturday, August 2, 2025! Taking place in the beautiful surroundings of New Castle, Henry, this scenic 5K event is perfect for runners and walkers of all ages. The race will kick off at 9 AM on the picturesque Wilbur Wright Trail, beginning and ending at the local YMCA.

Join your family and friends for a wonderful day outdoors, where strollers are welcome, but please remember to leave your furry friends at home. This exciting event not only promotes health and wellness but also supports a great cause—fundraising for a new sound system to enhance the performances of our Marching Band, Jazz Ensembles, and Indoor Percussion groups. Registration is just $20 per person, which includes all processing fees and awesome race swag! Be sure to register online at runsignup.com or sign up on race day from 7:30 to 8:30 AM.
