Join us for a morning of fitness, community spirit, and friendly competition, with prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers. CALLING ALL RUNNERS AND WALKERS: Join us Aug 1, 2026 for a scenic 5K Fun Run/Walk on the Wilbur Wright Trail beginning and ending at our local YMCA. This is a family friendly race, strollers welcome, but please keep it to your 2-legged family members (no pets).
This is our 2nd annual NC Band 5k. Boosters are raising funds to support all of our many ensembles including: Marching Band, Jazz Ensembles, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Festival and Open Class Indoor Percussion groups and Winter Guard.
We encourage you to register online at runsignup.com ahead of time, but if you need help getting registered, we will have volunteers on site to help with registations the day of the race from 730-830am. Packet pick-up will also be on race day, 730-830am. Race will start at 9am. Race entry is $20/person including all processing fees, and you'll receive awesome race swag!
