Registration is easy and affordable at just $20 per person, which includes all processing fees and great race swag! Don’t miss your chance to compete for prizes as the top three male and female finishers will be recognized. Make sure to arrive early for packet pick-up and to register from 7:30 to 8:30 AM, with the race kicking off at 9 AM. Join us for a day filled with community spirit, fitness, and fun!

CALLING ALL RUNNERS AND WALKERS: Join us Aug 2, 2025 for a scenic 5K Fun Run/Walk on the Wilbur Wright Trail beginning and ending at our local YMCA. This is a family friendly race, strollers welcome, but please keep it to your 2-legged family members (no pets).
This is our inaugural NC Band 5k. Boosters are raising funds to purchase a new sound system to support our Marching Band, Jazz Ensembles, Festival and Open Class Indoor Percussion groups.
You may register online at runsignup.com ahead of time, or register the day of from 730-830am (all registrations will be completed online, even day-of registrations). Packet pick-up will also be on race day, 730-830am. Race will start at 9am. Race is $20/person including all processing fees, and you'll receive awesome race swag!
Prizes for the top 3 overall male and female finishers. As this is a fun run, we will not be using a timing company this year.
