Join us for the exhilarating Norway Spring Classic 2025, taking place from April 25th to April 25th, 2026, in the beautiful town of Dickinson, Norway. This exciting event features three distinct race distances: a challenging 10K with five hills, a spirited 5K with two hills, and a fun 2-mile walk/run. All races kick off at 10:00 AM CST, so be sure to arrive early for registration and check-in starting at 9 AM in the Norway/Vulcan Middle School gym.
Participants will enjoy a scenic course that combines the charm of country roads with the vibrancy of town streets. With awards for the top male and female finishers in each distance, along with medals for the top three finishers in each age group, there’s plenty of incentive to give it your all! Plus, all 2-mile finishers will be treated to a delicious snack from Dairy Queen. Join us for a day filled with community spirit, friendly competition, and fun, all while supporting a great cause, as proceeds go toward scholarships for local high school graduates. Get ready to lace up your running shoes and be part of this fantastic event!

Race day registration & check-in opens at 9 am CST. Allow for extra time to walk to the start line (about 10 minutes).
As of April 24th, we only have M and XXL t-shirts available for race day. We are taking orders for post-race pick up.

RACE DAY DETAILS
Race day registration/check-in is in the Norway/Vulcan Middle School gym.
Entrance on top of the hill behind the school building from 9 am to 9:45 am cst.
Allow for extra time to walk to the start line (about 10 minutes). The race starts on Section Street between 5th and 6th avenue.
Lot parking available across from Fine Arts Center and top of hill, 4th & Chestnut, near school. School address is: 300 Section Street.
Awards: Middle School gym. Awards for top male and female finishers. 10k, 5k and 2 mile runtop 3 place finishers in each age group receive medals. Treat from Dairy Queen for all 2-mile finishers.
Facilities: Restrooms, showers available. Refreshments.

This is a non-profit event. Proceeds are donated to a scholarship for a Norway High School graduating senior to attend a technical or 4-year college or university.
COURSE DETAILS
10K COURSE: (5 challenging hills) A scenic country & town course with 5.7 miles of blacktop, .5 miles of gravel roads and six challenging hills. Miles are marked on road. Water at 3 mile mark. Time splits available at 1, 3, 5 mile marks.

5K COURSE: (2 challenging hills) Follows the 2-mile course around the circle and turns right on Pine Drive. The 5k takes Lake Street to Fifth and follows the 10k route to the finish. There are two challenging hills on this course.
