Join us for the 8th Annual Norwayne Alumni and Friends, Inc 5K Walk/Run for Scholarships on Saturday, August 30, 2025, in Fremont, Wayne! This exciting event is part of the Norwayne Alumni Labor Day Weekend festivities, embracing the theme "Continue Building Upon A Strong Foundation." Participants will enjoy a scenic 5K course winding through the charming residential streets of Fremont, NC, starting and finishing at the Norwayne Alumni Building. The course features a few gentle hills but is primarily flat, making it perfect for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.

This event not only promotes health and community spirit but also supports a worthy cause—the Norwayne Alumni & Friends, Inc Scholarship Fund. Wear your favorite T-shirt representing your alma mater, whether it’s from elementary, middle, high school, or college, and be part of this memorable day! Registration fees are affordable, with discounts for alumni and youth participants, and every participant will receive a medal. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers, so come out and show your support while having fun!
