Event summary
Get ready for an exhilarating day at the NWI Tri Training Day on Saturday, July 18, 2026, set against the stunning backdrop of Chesterton, Porter, and the beautiful Kemil Beach! This free training event is a fantastic opportunity for NWI Tri members and newcomers alike to engage in a supportive and fun environment. Participants can choose from Olympic and 70.3 distance routes, or simply enjoy a leisurely swim in Lake Michigan, a scenic bike ride through Beverly Shores and Porter County, or a run around the picturesque area.
With no pressure to complete all segments, you can tailor your experience to your comfort levelβwhether that means swimming, aquabiking, or completing just one loop of the run. This is not a race, so there won't be timing, awards, or race swag, just a day filled with camaraderie, hydration stations offering cold water and Gatorade endurance, and the chance to connect with fellow triathletes. Don't miss out on this unique training opportunity in a beautiful national park setting!
