Join us for the 3rd Annual Ocean County Foundation for Vocational & Technical Education 5K Turkey Dash and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, November 3, 2024, in the charming town of Waretown, Ocean. This exciting event will take place along the beautiful Barnegat Branch Trail, offering participants a scenic course to enjoy as they run or walk for a great cause.
The day kicks off with registration starting at 8:30 AM, followed by the 1 Mile Fun Run at 11 AM and the 5K race at 11:30 AM. With entry fees starting at just $25 for students and OCVTS staff, and $35 for adults when pre-registered, this is an excellent opportunity to get active while supporting the OCVTS Foundation. All pre-registered participants will receive a custom-designed t-shirt and a complimentary beer ticket (for those 21 and older). Plus, there will be awards for top finishers in various categories, making it a fun and competitive atmosphere. Bring your family and friends, and enjoy refreshments, music, and prize drawings as we celebrate community spirit and education! Don’t miss out on this fantastic day of fitness and fun!

CELEBRATION AND AWARD CEREMONY IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE RACE.
DIRECTIONS- From Garden State Parkway, take Exit 69 (north or south). Upon exit, turn right on to
Wells Mills Road. Drive approximately 2.1 miles. Waretown Municipal Offices Parking Lot is on the
right side, just past the Waretown Memorial Park. Access to the trail is adjacent to the Rail Trail parking lot, near the corner of Clearwater and Railroad Avenues.
