This highly anticipated event kicks off at 10 a.m. at Walton Park, conveniently located at the corner of Route 725 and Route 42. Athletes of all levels will enjoy a flat, out-and-back course on a smooth paved rail-to-trails recreation path, making it perfect for both seasoned runners and newcomers alike.
With a single aid station along the route and a welcoming atmosphere, this 10-mile race is designed to encourage camaraderie and community spirit. WHEN: Saturday, November 8 at 10 a.m.
DIRECTIONS: Race location is at Walton Park in Spring Valley at the corner of Rt 725 and Rt 42. From Bellbrook, take RT 725 east 5 miles. From Xenia, take Rt 42 south 7 miles. From the Dayton area, take Rt 35 to Rt 42 south. From points south, take Rt 42 north. Spring Valley is located about midway between Waynesville and Xenia on Rt 42.
PARKING: Walton Park, Elm Street, Spring Valley, Ohio
COURSE: This is a very flat out-and-back course on a paved rail-to-trails recreation path. There will be one aid station visited twice.
PRE-REGISTRATION: through RunSignup. Come to the green table at registration to receive your chip on race day.
Minors may be pre-registered on RunSignup by a parent or guardian. Minors must have the liability waiver (Online through RunSignup or the registration sheet at the event) signed by a parent or guardian.
FEES:
All Current ORRRC Members Run for Free (Fee waived automatically when your RSU membership profile is used, or bring your card/proof of membership to the event)
Non-Members:
$10 for ages 15 and up
Free for ages 14 and under
Members, if you don't register through RunSignup, you absolutely MUST show proof of membership on race day to be eligible for the member fees! No exceptions!
