Join us for the Overdose Awareness 5k - Strides to Save on Saturday, August 29, 2026, in Tyler, Smith! This uplifting event is held in honor of International Overdose Awareness Day, aiming to shine a light on the critical issue of overdose in our communities. Whether you're a seasoned runner or someone who wants to support a great cause, this 5k run/walk welcomes everyone.
Participants will not only enjoy a fun and energizing race but will also contribute to improving access to life-saving resources in the community, as all proceeds go towards this important mission. Finishers will receive a commemorative 5k medal, and awards will be given to the top three overall finishers as well as the top three male and female runners. Plus, there's a special recognition for running clubs with the most participants! Come out to make a difference and help us take strides to save lives!

Organiser's Description
To honor International Overdose Awareness Day, Dr. Ash Wellness Club is hosting a 5k run/walk to bring awareness to this community issue. Proceeds will be used to improve community access to life saving resources. Whether youre a committed runner or a caring community member, we would love to see you there! Race finishers will receive a 5k finisher medal. Lets get in stride to save lives!
