Runners can choose from a scenic double loop route for the 5K and 10K, making this a perfect opportunity for both seasoned runners and families looking to enjoy a fun day outdoors.
Packet pick-up will take place on Friday, October 16, from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Performing Arts Building, ensuring you're all set for race day. With registration fees starting at just $20 for the 1-Mile Walk, and $40 for the 5K, this event is not only a fantastic way to stay active, but also supports the Samantha Tapia Endowment, which provides vital resources for student-athletes at Palo Alto College. Come celebrate Samantha’s legacy and make a difference in the lives of young athletes while enjoying a day filled with community spirit, fitness, and fun!

4TH ANNUAL PALOWEEN HUSTLE IN HONOR OF SAMANTHA TAPIA. SAMANTHA WAS A YOUNG, VIBRANT PALO ALTO COLLEGE ATHLETE WHO HAD A PASSION FOR RUNNING. THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE ENDOWMENT FUND IN MEMORY OF SAMANTHA TAPIA.

Samantha Tapia, a resilient freshman at Palo Alto College, left a lasting impact on the campus community. She was an avid runner and won cross-country titles as a Burbank High School student-athlete. While representing the PAC cross country team in a meet against Trinity University on September 1, 1998, Samantha collapsed due to a medical condition. She passed away a few days later at Santa Rosa Hospital.
Samantha was a fearless competitor and beloved friend and teammate. We will celebrate the life of Samantha Tapia by hosting the annual Paloween Hustle. This run is dedicated to the Samantha Tapia Endowment, which provides vital support to student-athletes at Palo Alto College. Your participation directly contributes to the success of young athletes as they pursue their academic dreams.
