Get ready for an exciting day of fun and competition at the Paragon Splash & Dash, taking place on Sunday, August 11, 2024, in sunny San Antonio, Bexar! This summer youth aquathlon is a USA Triathlon certified race that promises to be a thrilling experience for young athletes aged 5 to 17. Participants will tackle age-appropriate distances, starting with a 50-meter swim and 200-meter run for the littlest competitors (ages 5-6), a 100-meter swim followed by an 800-meter run for ages 7-10, and a challenging 200-meter swim and 1600-meter run for the older kids (ages 11-17).
The race day festivities kick off bright and early at 7:00 AM with packet pickup, followed by pre-race announcements at 7:50 AM. The excitement builds as the races begin at 8:00 AM, with each age group taking their turn to showcase their skills and spirit. The distances will be broken up into three different distances based on age.
5-6 years old: 50m swim/200m run
7-10 years old: 100m swim/800m run
11-17 years old: 200m swim/1600m run
Race Day Schedule
7:00 AM - Outside pool door opens and packet pickup begins.
7:50 AM - Pre-race announcements
8:00 AM - 5-6 year-olds start
8:05 AM - 7-10 year-olds start
8:10 AM - 11-17 year-olds start
9:15 AM - Awards Ceremony on soccer field
In the case of bad weather, scheduling conflict, or cancellation, no refunds will be issued.
