Get ready for an exciting day of fun and fitness at the Patuxent River Kids Triathlon on Saturday, August 1st, 2026, in California, St. Mary’s! This vibrant event welcomes young athletes aged 3-17, regardless of their skill level, to participate in a thrilling triathlon experience that includes swimming, biking, and running.
The race features a variety of age-specific distances to ensure every child can join in on the action. The Tiny Tri for ages 3-5 includes a 12.5-yard swim, a 75-yard bike ride, and a 50-yard run. For ages 6-9, the Tri-It-Out offers a 25-yard swim, a 1-mile bike ride, and a quarter-mile run. The Super Sprint for ages 10-13 consists of a 100-yard swim, a 2.5-mile bike ride, and a 1-mile run, while the Half Sprint for ages 14-17 challenges participants with a 300-meter swim, a 6.4-mile bike ride, and a 1.5-mile run.

MCAA JOHN GLENN SQUADRON FOUNDATION IS PROUD TO PRESENT THE PATUXENT RIVER KIDS TRIATHLON. The Kids Triathlon is for ages 3-17 and all skill levels. The triathlon includes swimming, biking and running.

*Note that race age is determined as of December 31st of the current year.
Tiny Tri Ages 3-5 (12.5M/Yd swim; 75 yds bike; 50 yd run)
