Teams can participate together at our in-person event (Sunday, October 11, at Penbrook Community Park) organize their own run or walk at a time and place of their choosing, or complete the challenge individuallyevery mile and every dollar raised makes an impact.

Peace Promise is a Harrisburg-based nonprofit that addresses the complexities of sex trafficking in the Harrisburg region by offering outreach & intervention, support & training, education & awareness, and economic empowerment for those who have experienced the weight of sexual exploitation. We partner with survivors in their healing process to provide for practical needs like housing and employment while also addressing emotional support and life skills training to equip survivors to thrive in their journey to freedom. We partner with area organizations, law enforcement agencies, mental healthcare professionals, in addition to a dedicated community of volunteers, financial partners, and our trained and trauma-informed staff to ensure wholistic care of our survivors.
