Get ready for an exhilarating experience at the Pemberville 5 Miler - The Freeman Five, taking place on Friday, August 22, 2025, in the charming village of Pemberville, Wood County. This certified five-mile race kicks off at the Pemberville Fire Hall, winding through picturesque village streets and along scenic River Road, culminating in an exciting finish at the Fair grandstand. Runners of all ages can also participate in the 1 Mile Fun Run, which is free to all and starts around 7:45 PM. Registration for the Fun Run takes place from 7:15 to 7:30 PM, so don’t forget to have a parent or guardian sign the release form!
Participants can look forward to a well-organized event featuring chip timing, ample parking, and three water stops along the fast, paved course. With awards for various age groups and special recognitions for overall and local winners, there’s something for everyone. Plus, after the race, enjoy the festivities of the fair! COURSE: _CERTIFIED_ (OH89039) five mile course starts at the Pemberville Fire Hall, through Village streets, along River Road, with an exciting finish at the Fair grandstand.
FUN RUN: 1 MILE FUN RUN, FREE TO ALL. REGISTER FOR THE FUN RUN AT THE CORNER OF COLLEGE AND MEMORIAL DRIVE FROM 7:15 - 7:30PM. PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIANS MUST SIGN A RELEASE FORM. FUN RUN STARTS NEAR MAIN STAGE AT APPROXIMATELY 7:45PM.
FEATURES: Ample parking, fast, paved course, split times each mile, three water stops, chip timing provided by DRS Timing, pool and showers available at the finish, and many very enthusiastic fans. Enjoy the fair while you are in town!!

Registration: NO MAIL-IN OR DROP-OFF REGISTRATIONS ACCEPTED. All pre-registrations must be completed online at www.runsignup.com First 200 pre-registered entrants guaranteed an official "5-Miler" t-shirt. Entry fee is $25.00 (plus online registration fee) if pre-registered (online) by August 15, 2025. Early packet pickup available at Dave's (Perrysburg store) on Thursday August 21 from 6-7pm. Registration also available for $35.00. Race day registration from 5:00 to 6:15pm at Fire Hall (official 5-Miler t-shirt while supplies last). Day of race registration is $35.00 checks payable to: Village of Pemberville Race packets and shirts will ONLY be available at early and race day packet pick-ups.
