Join us for the Pemberville 5 Miler - The Freeman Five, taking place on Friday, August 16, 2024, in the charming town of Pemberville, Wood. This certified five-mile course kicks off at the Pemberville Fire Hall, winding through the picturesque village streets and along River Road, culminating in an exhilarating finish at the Fair grandstand. Runners of all ages can also participate in the 1 Mile Fun Run, which is free for everyone and starts near the main stage at approximately 7:45 PM.
The event features a fast, paved course with ample parking, split times at each mile, and three water stops to keep you hydrated. Participants will enjoy chip timing provided by DRS Timing, as well as access to a pool and showers at the finish line. With enthusiastic fans cheering you on, this is a great opportunity to have fun and celebrate with the community. FUN RUN: 1 MILE FUN RUN, FREE TO ALL. REGISTER FOR THE FUN RUN AT THE CORNER OF COLLEGE AND MEMORIAL DRIVE FROM 7:15 - 7:30PM. PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIANS MUST SIGN A RELEASE FORM. FUN RUN STARTS NEAR MAIN STAGE AT APPROXIMATELY 7:45PM.

All pre-registrations must be completed online at www.runsignup.com All registered entrants will receive a $5 food voucher that may be redeemed at the Legion Auxiliary Food Stand anytime during the 2024 Free Fair. First 200 pre-registered entrants guaranteed an official "5-Miler" t-shirt. Entry fee is $25.00 (plus online registration fee) if pre-registered (online) by August 09, 2024. Members of a high school team may take a $5 registration discount during online checkout. Members of the Toledo Roadrunners may also take a $5 registration discount during online checkout. Early packet pickup available at Dave's (Perrysburg store) on Thursday August 15 from 6-7pm. Registration also available for $35.00. Race day registration from 5:00 to 6:15pm at Fire Hall (official 5-Miler t-shirt while supplies last). Day of race registration is $35.00 checks payable to: Village of Pemberville Race packets and shirts will ONLY be available at early and race day packet pick-ups.
