The action kicks off at the Knights of Columbus Hall, where registration and bib pickup will begin at 8:00 AM. The Kids Race starts at 9:30 AM, followed by the 5 Mile Run at 10:00 AM. Participants can enjoy a special appearance from Santa himself, who will be available for pictures and holiday cheer! With awards for top finishers in various categories and festive refreshments awaiting all after the races, this event is sure to be a highlight of the holiday season. THIS YEARS EVENT WILL INCLUDE A 5 MILE SCENIC RUN THROUGH THE VILLAGE OF WAPPINGERS FALLS. THE COURSE IS NOW USATF CERTIFIED! WE WILL ALSO HAVE A KIDS ONE MILE RUN. BOTH RACES START AND FINISH AT THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS HALL IN DOWNTOWN WAPPINGERS. THIS WILL BE THE 43RD ANNIVERSARY OF THIS CLASSIC RACE.
5 MILE RACE IS $20 IF PRE-REGISTERED AND $25 THE DAY OF THE RACE. KIDS 1 MILE IS FREE IF PRE-REGISTERED AND $10 THE DAY OF THE RACE.
MHRRC MEMBERS RECEIVE A $5 DISCOUNT ONLY IF PRE-REGISTERED.
WE HAVE BEEN IN TOUCH WITH THE NORTH POLE AND WE PLAN TO HAVE A SPECIAL APPEARANCE FROM SANTA HIMSELF. HE WILL BE AROUND FOR THE KIDS RACE AND AFTERWARDS FOR PICTURES IN THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS HALL.
