Picnic Island Ultra - at Riverbend Park in Jupiter FL. 
2020 USATF Sanctioned Event - Pending
There will be 2 events; a 10 hour and a 6 hour fixed time event.
( A Fixed Time Event is where you have 6 or 10 hours to run as much as you can or want to. Technically, your a finisher after completing one loop! )

This is a Perfect KEYS100 shake-out run to test out your strategy and gear for that race!! The race is 60+ days out from KEYS100.   KEYS100.com
You can run either event, individually or as a relay team. ( see relay info below )

Date: Saturday  3-21-2019
Location: Riverbend & Loxahatchee River Battlefield Parks, 
                    9060 Indiantown Road Jupiter, FL 33478
Event Start Times: ( the park is open Sunrise to Sunset and that day it's 7 am to 7 pm. 12 hours of daylight = 1 hours to set up, 1 hour to break down & 10 hours to run )
                    Individual & Relay Events
                             10 Hour – Saturday 3-21-2019 at 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
                              6 Hour – Saturday 3-21-2019 at 8:00 am to 2:00 pm 

Finish Time: 2:00 pm & 6:00 pm March 21st ( or when you decide to stop! )
Course: The course will be a  loop around Riverbend Park ( working with the park on a new loop, the distance will be announced soon, but it will be between 3.5 - 4 miles ) .  You'll pass the Start/Finish Line / Aid Station and your gear every loop.   You can view the route here: Coming Soon!
Aid Station:  A fully stocked aid station will be at the Start/Finish line, stocked with better then average ultra food!  
We will have beer at the Finish of the race, or anytime you want a cold one during the race!

Several Volunteers are still Needed!  
Relay Info:  Teams can be up to 4 people for the 10 hour and up to 3 people for the 6 hour.  Each team will be given ONE Bib with a timing chip attached, which can be worn on a race belt for easy transfer between team members ( race belts will be supplied ).  Two or more team members can run together, however you'll only get credit for one loop. This way a team of 3 can compete equally with a team of 4 runners. The team in each event with the most miles wins!  Each loop will be 3.5 to 4 miles.

All participants, volunteers & spectators agree to abide by all park rules and regulations… The park has granted us approval to hold a race in 2020, we need to show the park we care about our trails and the parks that contain them. ( Which I know you all do, but they don't know it...Yet ! ) 
Runners may only be scored for awards under gender designated on government issued ID.  Participants that elect to not disclose their gender or choose “Other” as their gender will not be included in scoring for awards.
