Get ready for an exciting day of fun and fitness at the 8th Annual Pier to Pier Challenge Swim & 5K on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in beautiful Wildwood, Cape May! This engaging event features a unique 1-mile swim course designed in the shape of an apex, allowing swimmers to enjoy a spectator-friendly experience as they make their way through the water and finish strong through a designated chute. New for 2025, participants can also take part in a thrilling 5K beach run, which will take place on the soft sands of the beach and run along the picturesque shoreline. For the younger athletes, there’s even a 1-mile kids run!
Challenge yourself with the Double Down option, where you can sign up for both the swim and the 5K to receive a $15 discount. Each participant will be provided with a swim cap, a t-shirt, and professional chip timing to track their performance. The event supports the Wildwood Beach Patrol, with awards for top finishers in both the swim and the 5K, including categories for overall male and female winners, age groups, and team scores. THE 1 MILE COURSE WILL BE IN THE FORM APPEX. SWIMMERS WILL ENTER THE WATER, OUT IN AN APPEX TRIANGLE AND THEN EXIT THE WATER THROUGH A FINISH CHUTE. THIS COURSE IS UNIQUE AND SPECTATOR FRIENDLY.
**NEW FOR 2025**
WE ARE ADDING A 5K BEACH RUN. THE RUN WILL BE ON THE BEACH AND THE MAJORITY OF THE RUN WILL BE ALONG THE WATER ON THE HARD PACKED SAND. WE ARE ALSO ADDING A 1 MILE KIDS RUN.
DOUBLE DOWN CHALLENGE
