This exciting event features a unique 1-mile swim course shaped like an apex triangle, allowing swimmers to enjoy a spectacular ocean backdrop as they make their way through the water and exit via a thrilling finish chute. In addition to the swim, participants can lace up for a scenic 5K beach run, mainly along the hard-packed sand by the water, perfect for beach lovers. For the younger athletes, there’s a delightful 1-mile kids run to encourage the next generation of runners!
Challenge yourself further with the Double Down Challenge, where you can participate in both the swim and the 5K. All participants will receive a swim cap, a stylish T-shirt, and professional chip timing to track their performance. The event supports the Wildwood Beach Patrol and features awards for top finishers in both the swim and run categories. JOIN US FOR SOME SOME FUN IN THE SUN DOWN AT THE SHORE!
THE 1 MILE COURSE WILL BE IN THE FORM APPEX. SWIMMERS WILL ENTER THE WATER, OUT IN AN APPEX TRIANGLE AND THEN EXIT THE WATER THROUGH A FINISH CHUTE. THIS COURSE IS UNIQUE AND SPECTATOR FRIENDLY.
WE ARE ADDING A 5K BEACH RUN. THE RUN WILL BE ON THE BEACH AND THE MAJORITY OF THE RUN WILL BE ALONG THE WATER ON THE HARD PACKED SAND. WE ARE ALSO ADDING A 1 MILE KIDS RUN.
DOUBLE DOWN CHALLENGE
Looking for a challenge? Why not participate in the 5k and the swim? You must sign up for both events individually.
PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A SWIM CAP, T-SHIRT AND PROFESSIONAL CHIP TIMING.

PARKING: PARKING WILL BE STREET PARKING OR IN THE LOTS.
CHECK IN: PLEASE USE THE LINCOLN AVE BEACH ENTRANCE. CHECK IN WILL BE DONE BY THE MAIN LIFE GUARD STAND DOWN ON THE BEACH. CHECK IN WILL BEGIN AT 7:45
RACES: 5K STARTS AT 8:30 AM. SWIM STARTS AT 10:00
