Join us for the Pink October Race for Awareness 5K on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, in the vibrant Yuba City, Sutter! This year marks a special celebration as we honor 28 years of raising awareness and supporting women battling breast cancer and other female forms of cancer. Bring your kids and furry friends, don your best pink attire, and be part of a heartwarming community event that celebrates survivors and raises funds for the Geweke's Caring for Women Foundation.
All proceeds from the race will remain local, providing up to $3,000 in financial assistance to women in our community facing these challenges. Since 2006, over $1.6 million has been reinvested back into the Yuba-Sutter community, assisting more than 618 women and advancing imaging technology through our medical partners. This is more than just a race; it's a movement of support, compassion, and community spirit. We can't wait to see you there—let's make a difference together! Organiser's Description
We're celebrating 28 years of Pink October and we cant wait to get together again! Bring your kids! Bring your dog! Get dressed in Pink! We look forward to honoring our survivors and celebrate those who have battled breast cancer along with other female forms of cancer. All funds benefit the Geweke's Caring for Women Foundation which stays 100% local in the Yuba-Sutter community and financially supports women with up to $3,000 in assistance who are battling female forms of cancer. Since the Foundations inception in 2006 over $1.6 million dollars have gone BACK into the YUBA-SUTTER COMMUNITY to HELP OUR COMMUNITY. This has been to assist 618+ women with financial assistance and many more through the advancement in imaging technology with our non-profit medical partners; Sutter Health and Adventist Health. We are proud of this achievement and so should you! We know the support and financial aid is greatly appreciated by all who qualify. Registration begins at 7am on 10/4 & the race will begin at 8am followed by a pancake breakfast at Geweke Ford. Location: Geweke Field / Geweke Ford Kia. 871 E. Onstott Rd, Yuba City. Park at Gray Avenue School or Geweke Ford Kia. Carpool encouraged.
