Get ready for a sweet winter adventure at the 15th Annual Po Ho Hot Cocoa Event on Saturday, January 24th, 2026, in the beautiful Port Huron, St. Clair area! This exciting live event invites runners and walkers of all ages to join in the fun with races spanning four distances: 10 Mile, 10K, 5K, and a Kids 1 Mile. Starting at the Wrigley Center, participants can look forward to a vibrant atmosphere with race day packet pick-up from 7 to 9 a.m. before the races kick off, beginning with the Kids Mile at 8:30 a.m.
Enjoy the thrill of the race followed by a giant chocolate after-party featuring live music from the band Bandwagon. All registered participants will receive a custom finisher medal and a cozy Fleece Full Zip Jacket, with special goodies for our young runners too! With proceeds supporting local cross country programs, this event promises to be a delightful day for the whole family. Organiser's Description
Join us for the 15th Annual Po Ho Hot Cocoa Event! January 24th 2026. We are excited to offer this winter favorite as a live in person event, and hosted in a great venue. We are also pleased to announce Ted Fitzgerald Farm Bureau of Port Huron will be our main sponsor's for this years event. Again this year, race day packet pick up will be held from 7-9 a.m. at Wrigley Center. The giant chocolate after party will be held in the Wrigley Center area. There will also be a live band, Bandwagon will be performing in the concert area before and after the races. All registered runners/walkers will get a custom finisher medal and a Fleece Full Zip Jacket . Eastside timing will be providing live results for this event. Proceeds will go to local cross country programs.
All races will start and finish at Wrigley Center area. The cutoff time for the 10 mile, 10k and 5k will be 1130 a.m. There will be plenty of parking near this area. Please plan to make a full day of this great event, being hosted inside a great new venue with so many amenities.
There are four distances offered: 10 Mile, 10K, 5K, and Kids 1 Mile on January 24th 2026 Start times as follow- Kids Mile- 8:30, 10 Mile 9:00 am, 10K 9:10 am and 5K 9:10.
All Registrants for the 10 Mile, 10K, and 5K will receive a Full zip Jacket . There are Men and Woman's options for sizing. One mile youth runners will receive a long sleeve t-shirt with registration. All finishers will also receive a finisher medal. This event offers 5 year age groups awards as well.
Packet pickup will be Friday, January 23rd from12;00- 5PM at Wrigley Center 318 Grand River Ave, Port Huron, MI). Day of event packet pickup and registration will be 7:00 a.m.- 9:00 a.m. Saturday January 24th at Wrigley Center Area, 318 Grand River Ave Port Huron Mi 48060.
