Get ready for an exhilarating day of fitness and community at the Port City Run on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in beautiful Frankfort, Benzie! This beloved event, a staple since 1979, is making a vibrant return, perfectly timed to coincide with the Frankfort Fall Festival and Craft Fair. Participants can choose to run or walk the scenic 5K course, with awards up for grabs for the top overall, master, and grand master male and female runners, as well as in 14 different age-group divisions ranging from youth to 70+.
Join in the fun and camaraderie as you experience a blend of active living and local culture in downtown Frankfort. To kick off the event, there will be a pre-race packet pick-up at Stormcloud Brewing on Friday, October 9, from 4 PM to 7 PM, where registered participants can enjoy special discounts. Race day packet pick-up will take place at Open Space Park, starting one hour before the race. Funds raised from this fantastic event will support the Frankfort-Elberta Area Varsity Cross Country and Track programs, so lace up your running shoes and be part of this exciting community celebration!

The Port City Run has been a fixture in Frankfort since 1979, making a notable return in 2026 with a new autumn schedule. This year's run/walk coincides with the Frankfort Fall Festival and Craft Fair, celebrating a vibrant day filled with fitness, crafts, and community spirit in downtown Frankfort.
