Choose between a competitive 5K race or a laid-back 2-mile fun run/walk, and feel free to bring your furry friends along for the ride! Dogs are welcome to join the festivities, with each canine receiving a collar-clip medal and a special prize for the first K9 to cross the finish line. In addition to the race, you can enjoy the beach party atmosphere, complete with awards for the best-dressed participants. Every registration includes an event T-shirt, and proceeds will benefit improvements to children's play equipment at Harbor Park. The Port Sanilac Splash & Dash is proud to be part of Port Sanilac SummerFest a fun-filled weekend celebration on the shores of Lake Huron, July 2426, 2026! Whether you're here for the race or the full festival experience, come ready to celebrate community, summer, and everything that makes Port Sanilac special. Bring Fido and bring the beach vibes! Dogs are welcome at the Port Sanilac Splash & Dash let them run, ride in a stroller, or be carried right across the course. Every participating canine will receive a collar-clip medal, and the first K9 to cross the finish line wins a special medal. And don't forget this is a beach party! From beachwear to boating flair, the best-dressed human participant will also take home an award.
The Port Sanilac Splash & Dash is a chip-timed race along the beautiful shores of Port Sanilac, winding through streets and parks in our scenic Lake Huron waterfront community. Participants may choose between a 5K race and a 2-mile fun run/walk, making this a great event for runners, walkers, families, and visitors alike.
