DESPITE CHILDHOOD CANCER RATES BEING ON THE RISE, A DESPERATELY SMALL AMOUNT OF US FEDERAL FUNDING FOR CANCER RESEARCH GOES TO CHILDREN.
WHEN MASON WAS 9 YEARS OLD HE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH T-CELL ACUTE LYMPHOBLASTIC LEUKEMIA (ALL). HIS CANCER WAS TREATED WITH CHEMOTHERAPIES THAT HAVE BEEN IN USE FOR DECADES, BECAUSE THERE IS A DEVASTATING LACK OF FUNDING FOR NEW TREATMENTS WITH BETTER OUTCOMES!
FOR TWO YEARS, MASON AND HIS FAMILY USED THE SLOGAN NOT TODAY CANCER' AS THEIR MANTRA AND WHEN HE DIED FROM THE DISEASE, THE JOURNEY CONTINUED AND THIS LOCAL NON-PROFIT WAS FOUNDED IN MASON'S HONOR. SCIENTISTS ARE CLOSE TO A CURE TO HELP CHILDREN LIKE MASON AND YOU CAN HELP!

Packet Pick Up, where you can get your shirt and bib, on Saturday, the day before the race. Time and Location TBD.
If you are having someone else pick up your bib, shirt, and bag, they will need two things. A printed copy of your ID and a printed signed copy of the waiver. The lawyers and our insurance company require us to be strict on this, sorry for the inconvenience.
If you are unable to join us the day before, you can pick up your bib and shirt on race day in the festival area but get there early and be prepared to wait in line on race day.
