Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the Race For Life 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, in the charming town of Summerville, Berkeley! This vibrant event, presented in partnership with the Rotary Club of North Charleston, aims to raise awareness for critical issues such as Mental Health, Autism, and Dementia, while also providing scholarships for local high school seniors pursuing higher education. Participants of all ages are invited to join this uplifting community gathering, where everyone will receive a commemorative t-shirt and finisher medals to celebrate their achievement.
The day's festivities kick off early at 6:00 AM with vendor setup, leading to packet pickup from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM at Brown Family Park Nexton. The 5K run/walk starts at 8:00 AM, followed by an awards ceremony at 8:45 AM, where the top three male and female winners will be recognized. This is a rain or shine event, designed to promote health, literacy, and understanding within our community. Please join _TOGETHER WE ARE HELPING HANDS_ by participating in our annual Race For Life 5K run/walk. This year we are partnering with the ROTARY CLUB OF NORTH CHARLESTON. The event will promote awareness for Mental Health, Autism, Dementia, and fund scholarships that will be awarded annually to North Charleston high school seniors heading to college.
