Join us for the inspiring Race for Remembrance - 9/11 Tribute Run, taking place from September 8 to September 11, 2025, as we honor the memory of those lost on September 11, 2001. This remarkable event kicks off in Arlington, Virginia, where participants will gather to remember the 184 victims who tragically lost their lives.
Over the course of four days, the Tribute Run will cover an impressive 270 miles, transitioning from Arlington to New York City. The journey begins with a grueling 110-mile trek through Washington, D.C., and into Pennsylvania, followed by a 69-mile run on Day 2. Runners will continue through New Jersey, crossing the Goethals Bridge into Staten Island on Day 3, before completing the final 3.6 miles together to the Staten Island Ferry on Day 4. This heartfelt journey culminates in a solemn prayer vigil at Zuccotti Park, arriving just before the first plane hit at 8:46 AM on September 11.

Join us for part two of our campaign for 9/11/2025. On the morning of 08 September after a reading honoring the 184 people whose lives where lost, our Tribute Run will continue, as we meet with TASK FORCE 93 runners who departed from Shanksville PA on the morning of 06 September. They ran 170 miles over a two-day period carrying a flag that will continue all the way to New York.
Day 1 will have us tackling 110 miles passing through DC, heading north through Maryland into the hills in PA, where we will bed down for the night.
Day 2 has us up at the crack of dawn covering 69 miles and finishing up in time for karaoke and cheap beer at the Office Tavern in Skippack PA. Another overnight in PA.
Day3 will be an 87 mile affair finally heading east through NJ and across the Goethals Bridge arriving in Staten Island. Our lodging will be at the Navy Lodge at Fort Wadsworth.
Day 4 all runners and volunteers will run together covering the 3.6 miles from the Navy Lodge to the Staten Island Ferry. When we arrive in NY, its a short 0.6 of a mile to Zuccoti Park arriving before the first plane crashed at 08:46 AM. We will assemble for a prayer vigil and pay our respects.
Over the four days we will cover over 270 total miles.
-For twilight and night time running a full running vest will be required.
Registration includes the following:
-Four nights in a hotel (Mon through Thurs). You will have a roommate off your choice. Single rooms can be arranged, depending on availability. You are responsible for the price difference.
-Van transportation departing Alexandria VA on 08 September. We will have multiple vans that will monitor the runners and shuttle them to their starting points for their assigned legs. After we arrive on the 11th, we will have a return plan and we anticipate vans returning to Alexandria on the 12th and 13th. The last van will return on the 14th.
-A dryfit shirt of your choice (Red/White/Blue) Additional shirts will be available for sale.
-We will have H20 and snacks in the vans
It is expected that all runners and volunteers will help with fundraising and most especially raising awareness for our campaign and the foundation.
*The race directors have absolute authority to deem a route red and every effort will be made to find an alternate route. When not available or if it is a safety concern we will skip that portion of the route.
