Get ready for an exhilarating day of fun and fitness at the Race for Restoration on Saturday, April 4, 2026, in Bloomington, Monroe! This exciting event features a 5K run/walk and a Kids' 1 Mile Fun Run, all hosted at Bloomington High School North. Participants will enjoy a well-marked course that begins beside the bleachers of the track and field facility, winding through scenic Kinser Pike, Acuff Road, and Prow Rd., before finishing on the Ralph Sieboldt Track.
All proceeds from the Race for Restoration will benefit the Sycamore Land Trust, a dedicated non-profit organization focused on protecting land and restoring habitats throughout southern Indiana. With packet pick-up starting at 7:30 am, the Kids' Fun Run kicking off at 8:30 am, and the 5K Run/Walk commencing at 9 am, there's plenty of opportunity to get involved and make a difference. Plus, awards will be handed out immediately after the race, with medals for the top three in each age group. Join us for a day of community spirit, health, and environmental preservation!

THE RACE FOR RESTORATION is a 5k run/Walk hosted by Perfect Timing Race Management LLC, promoted by the BHSN Environmental Club, and held at Bloomington High School North, with ALL PROCEEDS BENEFITTING THE SYCAMORE LAND TRUST.
The Sycamore Land Trust is a certified non-profit organization that protects land, restores habitat, maintains hiking trails, and preserves throughout southern Indiana. The course is well-marked for first-timers, beginning beside the bleachers of the Bloomington High School North track and field facility, then continuing on Kinser Pike, Acuff Road loop, and Prow Rd. before utilizing the main road on the Bloomington North campus, with the final 300 meters finish on the Ralph Sieboldt Track.
THE RACE DATE IS APRIL 4, 2026.
Packet pick-up begins at 7:30 am.
Kids' 1 Mile Fun Run begins at 8:30 am.
5k Run/Walk Begins at 9 am.
No after-race waiting! Awards can be picked up at the registration table as soon as you finish your race! A medal will be awarded to the top 3 in each age group. Age Group Awards are divided into Male and Female categories, and age groups are as follows:
Run: Top 3 Overall, 10 & Under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over
