Registration opens at 9:00 AM, so arrive early to secure your spot and help raise funds for local children in need of swim lessons and water safety resources. Awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each age group, ensuring a competitive yet friendly atmosphere. Organiser's Description
May 10, 2024 our family tragically lost our sweet toddler, Gavin Reid Hansrote. Our family loves to run, be outside, and Gavin loved to ride his horse scooter. Reid-y To Swim 5K and Fun Day will be in honor of our sweet baby. This community event will be held at Greatest Generation Memorial Park Thomaston, GA. The route will start at the playground and go through the (paved) trail and back. The route is beautiful and mostly shaded. All of the proceeds raised during the race will be donated to local children in need of swim lessons and other water safety resources.
