This uplifting event features a scenic 5K run and walk that starts at Murphy Park and showcases the picturesque surroundings of New Harmony, with plenty of shaded areas and portions along the river on a gravel path. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society, making every step you take meaningful. The day kicks off with check-in from 6:30 to 7:30 AM, followed by a Kids Dash at 7:45 AM and the official 5K Run/Walk starting at 8:00 AM. Participants can register for just $25 before August 1, which includes a commemorative shirt, or $30 after that date while supplies last. Awards will be given to the top finishers across various age categories, along with top male and female runners and walkers. Who hasn't been affected by cancer in one way shape or form? All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. This 5K Run/Walk starts at Murphy Park in New Harmony, IN. The course runs through scenic New Harmony. A good portion of the race is shaded. Part of the course along the river is on gravel.
