Organiser's Description
Timed 5K and 10K distances will be offered in addition to the half marathon race.
The start/finish line for the race will be at the Mt. Carmel Merchants Park located at the intersection of 4th and Market Streets.
THE RACE START TIME WILL BE 8:00 AM. All runners should be in the start corral by 7:50 am.
WE WILL CLOSE THE COURSE AT 11:00 AM CST. Runners who have not crossed the finish line before the 3-hour mark will not be timed.
AWARDS will be given to the top male and female finishers for each race according to the following age groups.
1-12 / 13-17 / 18-25 / 26-39 / 40-49 / 50-59 / 60-69 / 70 and up
CASH PRIZES will be given to the top overall male and female for each race.
$50 EACH - HALF MARATHON / $25 EACH - 10K / $25 EACH - 5K
RACE PACKET PICK-UP will be the week of October 21 at the Mt. Carmel Public Utility office located at 316 N Market St. in Mt. Carmel. Office hours are 8:30-12 and 1-4:30 Monday- Friday.
A copy of your registration will be required to pick up your packet.
Limited race day packet pick-up will be available. No race day sign-ups.
Proceeds will go to The Guardian Center.
