Join us on Thursday, January 1, 2026, for an exciting outdoor event that starts at the Columns Museum, located at 608 Broad St. The race kicks off at 10:00 AM, with bib pickup beginning at 8:30 AM. Participants can enjoy a scenic out-and-back course that winds through quiet, flat residential streets, making it perfect for both seasoned runners and enthusiastic walkers.
As a bonus, the first 150 registrants will receive a stylish participant T-shirt, and there will be awards for the top three overall male and female finishers. This year, we’re also encouraging everyone to contribute to a good cause by bringing canned food items to packet pickup, helping to prevent hunger in our community. With ample parking available and a positive atmosphere to welcome in the New Year, the Resolution 5k Run/Walk is the perfect way to start 2026 on the right foot! THE COURSE IS AN OUT-AND-BACK 5K RUN/WALK STARTING AT COLUMNS MUSEUM, WITH MOST OF IT ON A QUIET FLAT RESIDENTIAL AND SCENIC ROAD. THERE IS AMPLE PARKING ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE MUSEUM AT 611 BROAD STREET AND THE ADJACENT MUNICIPAL LOT. RACE WILL BEGIN AT 10:00AM.
THE EVENT WILL BE TAKING PLACE OUTDOORS. HAVING EXTRA CLOTHES FOR BEFORE AND AFTER OUR 5K IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA.
