Join us for the 48th Annual Rhododendron 10K Run on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, in the charming town of Bakersville, Mitchell. Kicking off the day at 8:00 am, the event features a Kids' Mile followed by the main 10K race at 8:30 am. This moderately fast course offers a scenic out-and-back loop, perfect for runners of all levels. Not only will participants have the chance to compete for prize money in both Overall and Masters categories, but they will also enjoy fantastic post-race refreshments that celebrate the spirit of community. Part of the beloved North Carolina Rhododendron Festival, this small-town race promises a big-time atmosphere that you won’t want to miss. 8:00 am Kids' Mile, 8:30 am 10K. 48th Annual event. Course out and back loop, moderately fast. Prize Money Overall and Masters. Part of the Annual North Carolina Rhododendron Festival. Great post-race refreshments for all participants. Fantastic small-town race with big-time atmosphere. Road racing the way it ought to be!
