Organiser's Description
Absolutely. Since this is going directly on the RunSignUp page, I'd make it clear immediately at the top that the in-person event is canceled/pivoted, while still making the virtual option feel intentional rather than like a consolation prize.
Important 2026 Ribbon Revolution Update
Ribbon Revolution is going virtual!
After careful consideration, RunWell Georgia has made the decision not to hold the in-person Ribbon Revolution Run 5K originally scheduled for September 20, 2026.
Registration did not reach the level necessary for us to provide the race-day experience and event quality our runners deserve. Rather than compromise that standard, we're pivoting Ribbon Revolution to a Virtual 5K while providing our currently registered runners with additional options.
Already registered?
You do not need to register again. Registered participants will receive instructions by email explaining how to select one of the following options:
Complete the Ribbon Revolution Virtual 5K
Run or walk your 3.1 miles from wherever you choose during the designated virtual race window and submit your results through RunSignUp.
Transfer your registration to Toys & Trotters 5K
Registered participants may instead transfer their entry to our December 12, 2026 Toys & Trotters 5K.
Both approved options will preserve your applicable 2026 We Run Gwinnett Race Series credit. Participants pursuing the Series Medal will receive instructions explaining how the change affects their series participation.
Want to participate in Ribbon Revolution?
You're still welcome to join us virtually!
Register for the Ribbon Revolution Virtual 5K, complete 3.1 miles wherever you are, and be part of our mission to promote healthier lives through movement.
Ribbon Revolution may look different this year, but its message remains the same:
Every ribbon has a story. Every mile can make a difference.
Thank you for supporting RunWell Georgia and the We Run Gwinnett Race Series. We appreciate your flexibility as we continue working to create sustainable, high-quality running experiences for our community.
