Join us for an inspiring day of cycling at "Riding to The Rescue" on Saturday, June 28, 2025, in Oakdale, Allegheny! This exciting fundraiser supports The Asservo Project, dedicated to combating human trafficking through awareness and action. Cyclists of all skill levels are welcome to choose from three ride distances: a scenic 15-mile, a challenging 32-mile, or an adventurous 60-mile route along the beautiful Panhandle and Montour Trails.
The event kicks off at Helicon Brewery, where participants can gather early for registration and bike checks. The rides start at different times throughout the morning, with the 60-mile trip setting off at 7:45 AM. As you pedal towards your fundraising goals, remember that raising just $100 will waive your registration fee, and the rewards increase with your efforts! Enjoy refreshments, snacks, and the camaraderie of fellow riders as we aim to raise over $20,000 to support this vital cause. THE DETAILS ARE IN! TIME TO GET READY. WE ARE JOINING TOGETHER TO RIDE TO THE RESCUE!
Over the past several years we have supported The Asservo Project (TAP) successfully by having a fund raiser bike ride. We are going to do this again Saturday, June 28 with a ride on the Panhandle and Montour Trails. It will begin and end at the Helicon Brewery in Oakdale, PA. You will be able to choose your ride based on your skill confidence. Choose from a 15 mile, 32 mile or 60 mile trip. Since this is a fundraiser, we ask that you raise as much support as you are able to help combat Human Trafficking. Minimum to ride is $100. Upon registering, you will receive a link that you can send to family/friends to ask for support. If you raise $100 or more, your registration fee will be waived and a refund will be issued to your credit card. PLEASE NOTE, THERE IS A BOX YOU WILL NEED TO CHECK WHEN REGISTERING TO CONFIRM THAT YOU WANT THE REFUND IF YOU REACH YOUR GOAL.
For those that raise $1000 or more, you will receive a free Ride to the Rescue bike jersey and an Asservo water bottle. For those that raise $2000 or more, you will have the opportunity to have lunch with our CEO and Co-Founder, Joe Sweeney, and receive some Asservo swag. Any cash or checks you receive from donations for your support can be turned in at the registration table on the day of the event.
THANKS TO THE GENEROSITY OF PRO BIKE + RUN IN ROBINSON TWP, PA, WE WILL HAVE A SPECIAL RAFFLE ITEM FOR THE DAY OF THE EVENT THAT ALL REGISTRANTS WILL BE ENTERED INTO! THEY WILL ALSO HAVE A BIKE MECHANIC ON SITE FROM 7:15 AM UNTIL NOON ON EVENT DAY TO HAVE YOUR BIKE ADJUSTED OR IF A QUICK FIX IS NEEDED.

Meet at The Helicon Brewery early enough to be ready at your start time rain or shine. The 60 mile trip leaves at 7:45 AM. The 32 mile trip leaves at 9:30 AM. The 15 mile trip leaves at 11:10 AM.
We are hoping to raise over $20,000 this year!
Please note, TAP will provide snacks and refreshments for all participants. Water, sports drinks and snack bars will be provided at the start and finish of the event. Those on the 60 mile trip will also receive refreshments at the turnaround point. The Asservo Projects will have sandwiches and snacks for all riders once everyone returns and we are able to gather together, enjoy some food, and hear from Joe about the work that The Asservo Project is doing and why your support is so important.
