JOIN US MAY 3, 2026 AT THE BOULDER RESERVOIR FOR THE EMERGE 5K, A FAMILY-FRIENDLY WALK AND RUN SUPPORTING YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH AND SUICIDE PREVENTION IN OUR COMMUNITY.
When you register, you can create your own fundraising page and turn your miles into impact. Invite your neighbors. Rally your coworkers. Bring your kids. Every dollar raised helps provide therapy for youth in crisis right here in our community.
Rise Against Suicide has funded more than 20,000 THERAPY APPOINTMENTS and supported over 2,000 LOCAL YOUTH. In 2026, we are working toward a GOAL OF $175,000 to continue removing financial barriers and providing fREE THERAPY FOR KIDS who otherwise would not have access to care.
Along the course, butterfly memorials will line the path, each one honoring someone loved. Participants may sponsor a butterfly in memory or in honor of a friend, family member, or life carried in their hearts. Together they create a powerful display of remembrance, love, and community.
Live music by Kutandara fills the air as families gather and friends reconnect. This years event also includes a Kid Zone, a comforting Reflection & Connection Zone, and community vendor and resource booths featuring local organizations committed to youth wellbeing.

Rise Against Suicide's Emerge 5K 2026 Date: Sunday, May 3, 2026 Location: Boulder Reservoir, Boulder, Colorado The Emerge 5K is a free, family-friendly, untimed walk and run open to participants of all ages and abilities. We believe community, connection, and support should be accessible to everyone. The course follows an out-and-back route along the Boulder Reservoir. Participants will walk or run to a designated turnaround point and return to the start area. Parking will be available at the Boulder Reservoir. Additional event details, including parking instructions and the day-of schedule, will be shared with registered participants closer to race day. Beyond the walk/run, Emerge is a community gathering. Participants can enjoy live music by Kutandara, a Kid Area, a Quiet Reflection & Connection Zone, community vendor and resource booths, and local food trucks. Stick around after the walk/run to grab breakfast or lunch from our food trucks, listen to music, and spend time connecting with neighbors, families, and community partners. Butterfly memorials will line the course. Participants may purchase a butterfly in memory or in honor of someone special, creating a visible display of remembrance, love, and community.
