Get ready for the RMRR February Trophy Series, taking place on Sunday, February 1st, 2026, in the scenic Englewood area of Arapahoe County! This exciting event invites runners of all levels to participate in a fun and friendly atmosphere along the beautiful paved course by the Platte River. The series features timed races of 11km and 5k, with a unique handicap start system that ensures everyone has a fair chance to shine. The slowest 11km racers will kick off the event at 9:00 AM, followed by the fastest participants starting shortly after. The 5k race will begin approximately 15 minutes after the initial start.
Join fellow running enthusiasts for a day of healthy competition and camaraderie! After crossing the finish line, enjoy some snacks while results are compiled. While there are no extravagant awards, recognition will be given to the top three male and female finishers, as well as the top 10 members based on handicap times. Be sure to check in by 8:30 AM to grab your bib and get warmed up for an unforgettable race day!

Organiser's Description
Rocky Mountain Road Runners holds a monthly series of timed races in the Denver area. We provide a low-key, low-cost running environment. The Trophy Series races use a handicap start and scoring system. The slowest 11km racers will start at our 0:00 time, 9:00am, with the fastest 30+min later. All 5k racers will start ~15:00 after the 0:00 starts.
After the race, have some snacks while we compile the results. We don't do a full set of awards like at higher priced races. We award the top 3 female/male, net time, in each race. We also award the top 10 members based on handicap times.
