THE ASSOCIATION OF ROSLYN ESTATES [https://villageofroslynestates.com/] IS HOSTING A 5K FOR CHARITY ON MAY 18TH, 2025. ALL RESIDENTS, FAMILIES AND CLOSE FRIENDS ARE WELCOME. THE RACE WILL WIND ITS WAY THROUGH THE HISTORIC STREETS OF OUR BEAUTIFUL ENCLAVE, STARTING AT BLACK INK POND AND ENDING AT VILLAGE HALL 25 THE TULIPS WHERE THERE WILL BE A FINISHERS FESTIVAL. PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO THE ROSLYN BULLDOG FOOD PANTRY.
THE ROSLYN BULLDOG FOOD PANTRY, LOCATED AT ROSLYN HIGH SCHOOL, IS A COMMUNITY FOOD BANK RUN BY THE STUDENTS IN THE RAISE AND THE PATHWAYS TO INDEPENDENCE PROGRAMS. THE FOOD PANTRY IS KNOWN FOR PROVIDING ESSENTIAL SUPPLIES TO LOCAL FAMILIES WITHIN OUR ROSLYN COMMUNITY AND ASSISTING OTHER LOCAL COMMUNITY PANTRIES IN NEED. STUDENTS GAIN REAL LIFE WORK EXPERIENCES - ORGANIZING AND MAINTAINING THE FOOD PANTRY AND SHOPPING WITH THEIR CLASS TO PURCHASE ITEMS THAT ARE CURRENTLY NEEDED IN THE PANTRY.
THE ASSOCIATION OF ROSLYN ESTATES HOLDS SEASONAL CELEBRATIONS TO NEIGHBORHOOD GATHERINGS, WE STRIVE TO FOSTER A STRONG SENSE OF UNITY AND CAMARADERIE AMONG RESIDENTS WHILE PRESERVING THE UNIQUE CHARACTER OF ROSLYN ESTATES.
