Not only will you enjoy the natural beauty of the area, but you'll also be making a difference as funds raised will go towards eradicating Polio worldwide through the Rotary International Foundation, with contributions matched 2 for 1 by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. A non-competitive social ride with fellow Rotarian's and guests. Register now for the "Rotary (District 6970 Florida USA) Ride to End Polio" Life's Journey is to Enjoy Every Day to its Fullest. Bike to the SR-442 bridge and back for a 6 mile ride. Bike to Maytown Rd in Oak Hill and back for a 20 mile ride, or challenge for a 30 mile ride to Osteen-Maytown Rd and back. Any route you chose, raises funds to eradicate Polio Worldwide through the Rotary International Foundation.
The Rotary Clubs of Southeast Volusia-Golf, New Smyrna Beach, and Edgewater will be hosting this cycling ride along the beautiful, tree lined, East Central Regional Rail Trail. The trail runs North to South, and has a smooth asphalt base with minimal road crossings.
Chose your speed and distance, enjoy the natural beauty of the area and enjoy the after party, with food provided by the Edgewater Rotarian's. Commemorative riders caps will be available.
