This is a doggy dash (or walk) up the summer road on Buttermilk Mountain among the turning leaves in Aspen's fall season. Come join us for some fun with or without your dog and help us raise money for The Aspen Animal Shelter and Scout's Honor Rescue (Houston). This is the first annual event! A great race for the whole family and will have a professional timing company for those who would like to take it more seriously. Prizes for the first 3 male finishers, first 3 female finishers and raffle prizes!

CLOSEDButtermilk Summer Road is an intermediate/moderate road that is dog friendly. This is a 3.4 mile dirt road that winds around Buttermilk Trail on Buttermilk Mountain. The base elevation is 7,889 feet and reaches 9,871 on top. Elevation gain is approximately 1,982 feet.
