Join the Akanimo Cancer Foundation for the annual Run 4 Nimo 2026, a community 5K Run/Walk dedicated to raising awareness and support for children battling cancer. This meaningful event honors the life and legacy of Akanimo (Nimo), whose courageous fight against a rare childhood cancer continues to inspire hope, advocacy, and action for families around the world.
Participants of all ages are invited to run, walk, volunteer, donate, and stand together in support of:

The event was created in memory of Akanimo (Nimo), who battled Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT), a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. Through this annual event, the Akanimo Cancer Foundation continues its mission to create awareness, support childhood cancer research, and provide meaningful assistance to families in need.
Together, participants help fund:
* Childhood cancer research initiatives
* Treatment access for children with cancer
* Family assistance programs
* Comfort boxes and care packages
* Grocery support for families
* Childhood cancer awareness campaigns
KIDS FUN RUN
