The run will kick off at 8:00 AM from the Pecan Grove Picnic Area, conveniently located near the LA Zoo and Autry Museum.
Not only will you enjoy a fantastic day of running, but you'll also be contributing to a great cause as the event raises funds for LAFR's Carl Maravilla Scholarship and Let's Go Run programs. Participants can also opt for a virtual race if they can’t make it in person, ensuring everyone can join in on the fun from wherever they are. Awards will be given to the top three overall finishers, along with age group awards for runners in categories ranging from 10 & Under to 80+. JOIN US FOR THE 7TH RUNNING OF RUN DEO RUN AS WE RAISE FUNDS FOR LAFR'S CARL MARAVILLA SCHOLARSHIP AND LET'S GO RUN PROGRAMS. RUN DEO RUN TURKEY TROT FEATURES A FLAT 5K ON THE TRAILS OF GRIFFITH PARK.

Run Deo Run Turkey Trot 5K will be on Sunday, November 24, in Griffith Park. The start/finish area is the Pecan Grove Picnic Area near the LA Zoo/Autry Museum. The 5K is a mostly flat out and back course along the main trail.

ABOUT LA FRONTRUNNERS
Los Angeles Frontrunners (501c3), is the LA chapter of International Frontrunners. In addition to running, running, more running (and lots of eating), LAFR raises funds and collects goods to donate to local charities. In the past, those charities include; Students Run LA, PAWS/LA, Life Worth Saving, Friends of Griffith Park, Angel City Pit Bulls, InsideOut Community Arts, Friends of Project 10, ProjectQ, Outwords and the Don Thompson Scholarship at the USC Film School.
