Join us at Faulkner Park in Tyler, Smith on Saturday, November 9th, 2024, for the Run for One event organised by Tyler Type One. This event aims to raise awareness for Type One Diabetes and show support for those living with the condition. Participants can choose to walk, ride, or run to support the cause, with all proceeds going towards supporting individuals in the community with Type 1 Diabetes through monthly support groups, education classes, and local events. By promoting warning signs locally and nationally, Tyler Type One works to save lives by raising awareness about the potentially fatal consequences of undiagnosed Type 1 Diabetes. Registration is $35 for adults and $20 for kids 12 and under, with event t-shirts guaranteed for those who register by October 28th. Early packet pickup will be available on November 8th at Whataburger, with same-day pickup on November 9th at Faulkner Park. Invite your family, friends, and co-workers to join us at the starting line for this important event!
