Lantz Tucker Memorial Fund for pets is a special fund for pets who are in urgent need of medical care.
Imagine your beloved pet has an emergency, like being hit by a car, and urgently needs vet care or he may die. But, you recently lost your job and things are tight and you dont have $1000+ for a vet bill, no matter how much you love your dog. Or you have a job, you work hard, you work full time and it's barely enough to cover the bills. What if your only choices were to let your pet die or surrender him to a rescue so he may live?
We help those pets, and their loving owners, so that the pet doesnt die and the owners dont have to surrender it to get it help.

Our annual fundraiser, Run for Paws 5K will be October 11, 2025 at Frontier Park in Olathe! 100% of the money raised in our 6h annual Run for Paws 5K will be used to directly pay vets for the urgent and life saving medical care. Since opening in April of 2020, our little fund has donated over $350,00 and helped to keep 804 pets in their homes, with the families who love them. We ask for nothing in return, and every single penny donated goes directly to vet bills.

This run is our only fundraiser, otherwise we operate 100% on donations. Please join us and help us to save even more lives!
