Participants can enjoy a fun-filled day with family and friends while raising awareness for pregnancy, infant, and child loss. The event features a ~2.5 mile fun run/walk starting at 1:30 PM along the scenic Centennial Trail, where each step is marked with signs that honor precious lives.
Festivities kick off at Riverstone Park with sponsor booths, an emotional support area for creating luminaries and painted rocks, and a silent auction filled with unique items to support the Northwest Infant Survival and SIDS Alliance (NISSA). Be part of the touching remembrance ceremony from 1:00 to 1:30 PM, where names of cherished children will be read aloud. Whether you run, jog, or stroll, this event is for everyone! Our walk is a special time to come together, remember all children who have died suddenly and unexpectedly, raise awareness of pregnancy, infant, and child loss, and enjoy a day with family and friends. EVERYONE is welcome!
All proceeds benefit the emotional support programs of Northwest Infant Survival and SIDS Alliance (NISSA) [https://wehealtogether.org/].
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:
SPONSOR BOOTHS: Visit our sponsor booths between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AREA: Create a luminary, paint a rock, or make a button (bring a photo if you'd like). These activities are available from 11:00 AM 1:00 PM.
SILENT AUCTION: The silent auction will be held in person this year! Its a great opportunity to support NISSA and take home a unique auction item. If youd like to donate an auction item, please contact Liz at 208-557-4371.

REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY:
1:00 1:30 PM at the amphitheater alongside the pond.
We will be reading the names of the children we are honoring. If you are a newly bereaved family or returning participant and would like your childs name read and a sign created for the run route, please fill out this online form [https://forms.gle/roXihDPbGbmuGxtNA]. The ceremony will also be streamed live on Facebook.
FUN RUN:
The ~2.5 mile fun run/walk starts at 1:30 PM. Registered participants are welcome to complete the course at their own pace. The course will close at 3:00 PM.
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
LOCATION:
The event is held at the beautiful _RIVERSTONE PARK,_ with most of the route along the scenic Centennial Trail. Enjoy views of the Spokane River throughout the entire course. Bicycles and strollers are welcome. The route will be clearly marked with over 130 signs, each honoring a child. Please note, this is not a closed course, and regular traffic will be present.
RUNNER REGISTRATION & PICK-UP:
Sunday, October 13th from 11:00 AM 3:00 PM at Riverstone Park. Participants can collect their shirts and bags during this time.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
The Run for the Angels will take place rain or shine. Cancellation will occur only if deemed necessary by event officials due to hazardous conditions. In the event of cancellation, registration fees will be considered donations, and arrangements will be made for shirt and bag pick-up. No refunds will be provided.
